First released in 2005, MP-02 Masterpiece Ultra Magnus
is back by popular demand! Reissued under Takara Tomy, this
Masterpiece-quality transformable Ultra Magnus figure is the same as its
initial Takara release, with the exception of the Takara box logo
having been replaced with the Takara Tomy logo.
An all-white redeco of Optimus Prime, Masterpiece Ultra Magnus is made of ABS plastic and die-cast metal parts. This ultra-cool Transformer toy features complex transformation (particularly the torso area), a working suspension, rubber wheels, flip-up wrist communicators, and an opening chest to house the Autobot Matrix of Leadership with light-up LED. Even his mouth piece is moveable to simulate Ultra Magnus talking! This highly poseable toy is fully transformable from robot mode to a truck mode that greatly resembles a 1980s-style cab-over-engine semi-trailer truck. Weapons include a Photon Arms axe, pistol with scope, silencer, and stock, and a Magisto laser rifle. Two sheets of papercraft are also packed in the box to allow you to build Ultra Magnus' classic trailer! Two test button batteries are included.
