This item is an action toy, with some die-cast metal parts, of a science fiction/anime character or item.

This is a car-to-robot Transformer in the tradition of previous releases from the last two decades, but it has two important differences: (1) It's a very realistic rendering of an actual, current WRC rally car, the Subaru Impreza WRC 2003, with markings for either Tommy Makinen (#8) or Petter Solberg (#7), who actually are racing it in competition; and (2) when it's a car, it has none of the toy-like qualities of previous offerings, instead being a gorgeous display model with complete engine and cockpit detail!
